Our Timeless Journey

At Paralegal Maven, we’ve dusted off the books and polished our typewriters... (a.k.a. laptops), to work in the spirit and love of bygone eras.

Paralegal Maven's Owner-Proprietress, Jennifer Cargiulo, discovered her passion for history, justice and the legal process at an early age, striving to follow in the footsteps of her Dear Grandfather Louie. A Navy Veteran who served his country in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Upon exiting the Navy, he then served his hometown community as a police officer.  This honorable example of service, pride and community has been carried in Jennifer's heart throughout her years of experience in the legal profession.

Jennifer has a fondness for vintage elegance and attention to detail that shines in her work. With her cat-eye glasses and clever resourcefulness, she crafts legal documents with precision. Her versatile case management skills help her to navigate providing legal assistance with ease. She believes that every client and case is deserving of personal care and attention. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a Crime Scene Investigation Certificate and has been a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice with a Paralegal Associate standing.

Our Vintage Approach

• Legal Etiquette: We nod to tradition, addressing all parties and opposing counsel with respect, manners and kindness. 

• Contracts: Our contracts are more than words on paper; they’re promises to do the best work that we can to foster positive and continued working relationships. 

• Historic Office Location: Although we are fully remote and work from home, coming soon in the near future, there will be a cozy office location in a beautiful gothic style church. The church is being converted into a home and is currently under renovation to include a quaint office space. 

• Office Couture: Our attire? Classic. If Parlegal Maven needs to attend any meeting or event in person, we always put our best Mary Jane clad foot forward.  We believe that dressing well is a sign of respect for the legal process.

• Case Management: Picture this: a dimly lit office, leather-bound ledgers, and a rotary phone. Now add our HIPAA compliant, intuitive case management software, and you’ve got a winning legal combo.

• Document Preparation:  From ink-stained affidavits to sepia-toned contracts, we’ve got your Civil documents covered.  Paralegal Maven can also help you explore the art of Pro-Se self-representation. Because sometimes, the classics—like representing yourself—never go out of style.​
